Introducing Manufacturer & Integrator Portals — Plus a Live Demo

February 2026

We just shipped two major additions to SafeSchoolOS: dedicated partner portals for manufacturers and integrators, plus a live demo mode that lets anyone experience the full platform instantly.

Until now, manufacturers and integrators interacted with SafeSchoolOS primarily through documentation and API endpoints. That changes today. Each partner type now has a full-featured portal built around their specific workflow.

The Manufacturer Portal gives hardware partners a complete home base inside SafeSchoolOS. The dashboard surfaces key metrics at a glance — certified products, pending test results, and membership status. A dedicated product management section lets manufacturers add, edit, and organize their hardware catalog with specifications, images, and compatibility details. The certifications area tracks every product through SafeSchool's testing and approval pipeline, while a test results viewer provides detailed pass/fail breakdowns. Finally, membership management handles billing, tier status, and account settings all in one place.

The Integrator Portal is designed for the installers and system integrators who deploy SafeSchoolOS in schools. Integrators get their own dashboard showing active jobs, certification progress, and referral leads. The certifications section tracks completion of SafeSchool's training modules — a requirement for appearing in our installer directory. A training hub provides on-demand courses covering every supported hardware platform. The documents area stores contracts, installation guides, and compliance paperwork. And a profile editor lets integrators manage their public directory listing, service areas, and contact information.

Both portals share a common infrastructure: role-based access control, a consistent navigation shell, and the same responsive design system used across the rest of the platform. Manufacturers see only manufacturer tools; integrators see only integrator tools. This keeps the experience focused and secure while letting us ship shared improvements — like notifications or analytics — to both audiences simultaneously.

Perhaps the most exciting addition is the live demo button, now available right from the navigation bar. Click it and you're dropped into a fully functional SafeSchoolOS instance pre-loaded with sample data — schools, hardware, floor plans, credentials, and more. No signup, no email, no credit card. You can explore the admin dashboard, trigger a simulated panic alert, walk through visitor check-in, or browse the manufacturer catalog. It's the fastest way to understand what SafeSchoolOS actually does.

We built the demo because we believe transparency is a feature. School safety technology shouldn't require a sales call to evaluate. If our platform is going to protect students, administrators and security directors deserve to kick the tires themselves.

What's next? We're working on real-time notifications across both portals, a manufacturer analytics dashboard with install-base metrics, and an integrator job board that connects certified installers with schools in their region. If you're a hardware manufacturer or system integrator interested in joining the SafeSchoolOS ecosystem, visit our manufacturer or integrator page to learn more — or just click the Live Demo button and see it for yourself.
